Conversations with a 3-year-old

Little ones...they say the funniest things....

(From when Andy was sick...we were talking to him in the bed)

James: What matter with Daddy?
Me: Daddy doesn't feel well. He's going to go to the doctor.
James (very excited): He going to the doctor!?!
Daddy: Yeah, the doctor's going to make me feel well.
James (still very excited): You go to the doctor...you get stickers, and bouncy balls, and lillypops!

(It was so cute that he assumed that Daddy going to the doctor would be the same as when he goes)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
James: Daddy, I turned the wind on.
Daddy: What did you do James?
James: See, I turned the wind on! (points to the fan)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

(at the store)

Me: I can't decide which one I want, James.
James: Well, um, what do you like mommy?

James is 3!!!

James turned 3 on May 26. We had a small party for him with some of his friends. He had a blast and was truly ecstatic about his Cars cake! Check it out!!!

"See, I'm 3"

THE Cake
Getting sung to and blowing out the candles
All of my friends with me on the couch!

Happy Birthday little man...We love you!!!

She's 9 months!

"Little" Samantha is now 9 months old! She is only 14 lbs 11 oz (less than 3 percentile) and 27 1/4 inches long (25-50th percentile). She is truly a teeny little girl!
What's new with Samantha:
*Crawls like an inch worm
*"Sings" and dances
*Waves
*Recognizes her name
*Loves her shape sorter
*Has two bottom teeth
*Loves to eat
*Says "dada" but still no "mama" :o(

Look out world...here I come!

Guitar hero?

I'm not bragging or anything...but my husband does one of the best AIR guitars on the planet. Here he is passing his "skills" to the next generation...

(Notice the air guitar face on both of them!)
