I know that *some* of you are going crazy that I haven't posted pics of the kids in a while. I will soon...we just haven't had much luck capturing photos of the kids lately (i.e. someone is crying EVERY TIME the camera comes out). But until then I thought I would post a couple of cute stories....
Story #1:
The other night a may fly (a huge, ugly mosquito looking thing that is harmless, but really scary looking) got into James room right before he was about to fall asleep. Suddenly Andy and I heard James screaming, and ran back to his room to find him "trapped" by this bug. I scooped him up and took him out of the room, and assured him that daddy (our hero) would kill the bug. When we got out of his room he said, "Get Larrboy! He's scared too!" Oh my heart just melted! He can really be so sweet....
Story #2:
We went to Zaxbys on Tues night because our Zaxbys has free kids meals (with the purchase of a regular meal) on Tues. We had almost finished eating when James proclaimed that he had to go potty. I said, "ok" and started to move to take him, when I was informed by James that Daddy needed to take him (he's becoming very aware of the boys room/girls room thing). However, then he also informed me that boys play games and have fun in the boys room. Really? So, I asked him, "Well, what do girls do in the restroom?"
He said, "They
just go potty."
LOL.
Story #3:
We went to Chick-Fil-A (we're starting to sound like fast food junkies....probably because we are) and after eating the kids and I went into the play area (which I absolutely LOVE at our Chick-Fil-A) while Andy cleaned up and then joined us. Right after Samantha eats, she has the roundest little tummy. It really is so cute and I'm trying to get a picture of it...if only she would stand still! Anyways, this little girl (she looked to be about 3 or 4) came into the play area and walked over to Samantha. She put her hand on Samantha's tummy, looked up at me and said, "Does she have a baby in her tummy?" I almost fell over!! It was so cute!! Of course I told her "No, there's not a baby in her tummy."
Oh kids, and the things they say!!
